Book 1 (Complete): Phin York and the Giants of Wintercoombe
A 12,000-word chapter book, where Pippi Longstocking meets Game of Thrones

Nine-year-old Phin would do anything to prove to herself and her faraway parents that she's doing just fine running an entire castle all on her own. But after her castle-coveting cousin steals her crown and vanishes into a forbidden secret passageway, Phin must follow him in to reclaim what’s hers. As she sets on the most important mission of her life, she recruits best friend Tilly, and a few legendary Frost Giants, to help as she journeys through time and space in the old Celtic world to catch the thief who has stolen her crown—something she needs to return to her real home 600 years in the past.

Along the way, Phin must face the consequences of a disastrous decision she makes, square up with a jealous cousin who’s determined to take her kingdom, and come to terms with promises made from her father who’s kept her in the dark of who she really is.

Series (Potential): The Moorland Manuscripts
The series follows best friends Phin and Tilly as they time-travel across mysterious worlds and become entangled in solving centuries-long mysteries. Through the books, Phin transforms into a symbol of hope for other girls in the moorlands, embodying courage and resilience in the face of everyone who says princesses can’t run their own castles. The series emphasizes curiosity, bravery, and teamwork, and draws inspiration from the fantastical lore of Celtic, Welsh, and Northern English history.
